Melcher-Dallas FFA advisor and three members attended the State Convention in Ames.
Two of the members served as delegates for the business session.
Those attending included Advisor Carrie Putz, MaeLee Gentry, Rachel Ripperger and BrieAnna Remster.
Melcher-Dallas Prom Walk-In will now be held at the Melcher-Dallas Fire Station at 7:15 p.m. due to Saturday's weather. If you are attending, please do not arrive before 6:45 p.m. to the fire station. The junior parents would like to give a shout out to MD Fire and Rescue for letting them use their facility on such short notice. It's truly appreciated.
Animal Science enjoyed a guest speaker today.
Robin Greubel from K9Sensus Foundation came to talk about training dogs for different jobs from bomb detection to finding people in a crisis situation.
She even brought Flash with her who she is currently training.

On Thursday, the 9th and 11th graders went to Urban Air as a reward from the 2022 ISASP testing results. They had an awesome time!
The high school was so busy this week that these posts got missed! On Monday, our band students participated in Honor Band at Seymour. Many of them also played solos or duets at the music concert on Thursday, including an awesome guitar duo by Allison and Josephine Schneider.
