MD FFA students hosted trunk or treat in the HS parking lot. It was chilly but they still had a good time and crowd of kids!

11th/12th Student of Month
Academics: Nathan Gilliland
Nathan is always working hard and making sure assignments are turned in on time. He is helpful to students when working in groups. He also makes sure to quickly complete anything that was missed if he is gone. He asks great questions to make sure he understands the material and isn't afraid to redo something that was confusing the first time.
Leadership:Jaslin Murillo
Jaslin is a great role model for those around her. She is very helpful to those around her and does it with a smile on her face. She is often caught quietly helping other students and even volunteering to help someone.
Citizenship: Hannah Ford
Hannah is a hard working, honest, and vibrant young lady. She is involved in Journalism and FBLA. She was recently voted the President of FBLA and is working hard to ensure they are able to attend more events. She is respectful to all staff and students.




9th/ 10th October Student of the Month
Academics: Elizabeth Shipley
Elizabeth is always going above and beyond when it comes to her school work. She is always asking for help and wants to hand in excellent work. She always does her best to be successful.
Leadership: Colton Cox
For providing leadership skills while in the classroom and on the football field. Great person to look up to, always willing to do what is right. Also isn’t afraid to tell someone when they are potentially doing something they shouldn’t be. Never afraid to ask for help or ask questions in the classroom.
Citizenship: Jorja Gravett
Jorja has a positive attitude every day. She stands up for what is right and tries to get her fellow students to do the same. She also gets involved with groups that help others.




7th/8th October Student of the Month
Leadership: Lainie Kamerick
Lainie does a great job of being engaged in class and is always willing to participate in class discussions. Lainie works to stand up to her peers when they say things that may hurt others' feelings. She is always willing to reexplain a concept to her classmates in order for them to be successful on an assignment.
Citizenship: Layla Starkovich
Layla is a very involved student. She participates in sports and is active in the community. She isn't afraid to do the right thing even if others aren't.
