A huge shoutout to these three amazing 3rd grade students who accepted Mrs. Lee’s Winter Break Bingo Reading Challenge! Choosing to keep reading over break shows dedication, responsibility, and a true love of learning.
We talk often about how consistency matters, and these students proved that strong readers are made by showing up—even when school is out. We are so proud of their effort and commitment to growing as readers!

Melcher-Dallas PTO is hosting a Read-A-Thon- starting next week!
Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.
We have chosen to do a Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills while getting sponsorships to aid in fundraising.
